Social poster provides a service similar to Pingomatic to submit your favorite sites or blog entries to many of the social book marking sites out there. One screen, many submissions, the catch is that you have to have an account on each one of the submitted sites, makes for a clear use of same userid and password across many sites. The sites that they do the submission on are:

You can get social poster code here.
They even have a tear off for adult material on another page that we wrote about here yesterday.
Automation is good, and depending on the sense of humor that these sites have, the bulk upload of information to sites should be used with care. You really should not submit something you do not love, nor should you upload an entire web site in one day. While social book marking services can be really cool, you should use them based on payoff, in other words, it is not enough to upload, but what value to they bring to your web site.
Then without a whole lot of time, sites like Social Poster really do allow automation to take the place of single process that can be very time consuming. Pingomatic is a great idea, and works well on letting people know the site was updated. Social Poster works on the same concept, but just for social bookmarks. It is well worth checking out.
