NPost a Seattle entrepreneurs site
A few weeks back we were able to have lunch with Nathan from NPost, and we have been swamped, those web 2.0 boys keep it coming, then there were the unionization issues, and IPhone hacking, as well as the weirdly rabid Ron Paul crews on the internet. We are finally getting to the point where we can write about some local Seattle entrepreneurial resources, and NPost should be high on everyone’s list to visit.
NPost can be found here, and is a site that centers around entrepreneurs and startups, because they need a lot of things, they need it in a crisis management format, and they will willingly ask anyone, many times, for the same thing because they are not getting what they need to do their work. NPost helps these folks with career support and finding folks, as well as networking events.
The next networking event is 21 August 2007

The job boards are fairly classic, but more geared towards startups along the west coast, so if you are sitting there in silicon valley, and want to come up to Seattle for a quick working month or two, as well as regular FTE positions, then this one very good place to look. Nathan not only is very active in the community, and regularly answers the questions that startups have on the Seattle tech forum, but he can be seen at just about every techie event in the area.
The good part is here is a site and a person who has been hanging around the Seattle startup scene for a while, very capable and able to talk across a wide range of topics and interests. Not just geek for geek sake, be prepared for a long conversation that covers 10 or more subjects if you have the chance to sit down with him, and generally really wants to see the Seattle startup market get bigger.
All in all, NPost and the owner Nathan are well worth keeping as a contact, if he does not know the answer, he most likely knows the person who does.
