One of our friends recently had a birthday, all he wanted was an IPod, and he told everyone to wait because something big was going to come out of apple and he would be willing to delay his birthday just to get his hands on the new upgrade IPod. Of course, we all thought this was foolish and had his birthday anyways sans IPod.
Find out our friend was not wrong, figure this one, a touch screen IPod, and we know were we are going this weekend, right to the apple store in Bellevue Washington.
It looks like you’ll be able to do plenty more than browse YouTube and Facebook with the new iPod touch’s built-in WiFi, with Jobs also taking the opportunity today to announce the iTunes WiFi Music Store. It’ll let you search for anything in the iTunes Store, preview it, and download it directly to your iPod touch. That then gets synced to your main iTunes library for safe-keeping and, if the download isn’t quite done, it’ll even finish things up for you. Source: Engadget
Of course with news like this the blogosphere is going to explode in an apple orgiastic delivered cool fun toy hot on the heels of the IPhone (and you can get your two hundred dollars back) price drop. Even ZDNet is getting into the act here.
You have to admit it that Apple gets it, and the Apple fanboys and fangirls are going to be rushing home with their neat nifty new IPod touch this weekend and just enjoying the entire experience.

That is the interesting part, as apple goes from strength to strength, and basically taking on everyone and winning to some degree, it is starting to look so much like apples year, if the last couple of years that the more paranoid amongst us are going to wait for the other shoe to drop. When will apple stumble? Is it even possible for apple to stumble in the short term?
