Leave Brittany Alone
Ah yes, in a celebrity obsessed united states, it was just a matter of time until some major Brittany Spears fan would come out of the wood work to express their thoughts on YouTube. The video is right below.
In many ways this is a vital social experiment and critical to Web 2.0, how a society manages to handle a public breakdown of personality.
It is not that anyone objects to Brittany, it is that the melt down in personality, marriage and parenting is something that a celebrity obsessed culture will do. The following for the current bad girls of Hollywood increases with the amount of negative press. Paris, Lindsay, and Brittany all have a focused attention of the press, paparazzi, media, and regular people following the public meltdown.
In Web 2.0, the discussion of these events is critical, we can often learn, offer advice, and work with folks by offering our own stories. Better yet we also work on a tribal level with shunning, public ridicule, and a whole host of other methods that work in isolating those folks who do not follow whatever social norm is in vogue for a particular community.
It is like watching the Jerry Springer show, no matter how low you feel, there is some person in the public eye that can actually make you feel better because you have not sunk that low. Talking it out in MySpace, Facebook, YouTube, and other social web sites also helps people through their crisis by showing rather public personality meltdowns as examples of what not to do in the future.

what a fag !!! get a life dude
Is that a guy or a girl?
It is a guy, and obviously meets the criteria of “fan obsessed”.
….
