Techwag Review I Rate My Day
This is a neat little experience in micro blogging, it is a new site, and very interesting, you just have to update it once per day, and say if your day was good bad or ugly. Has some interesting icons, and in all not a bad experience.
Logging in is super easy, although you might want to check on some of the settings, they do want to send you stuff in e-mail, so depending on your preferences, and what you need as a reminder, they will ask to send you an e-mail every day reminding you to rate your day.
This makes for an interesting way of determining the overall happiness of the people using their systems, and would be interesting for academic research once they have a year or two worth of knowledge under their belt. How many people are happy, what are they happy about, or what are they unhappy about.
As well as the static image for MySpace, nothing about Facebook yet, but the widget should work there as well as either widget or static.
Inviting friends is very simple, and it might not be a bad idea either, you see all those “mood oh meters” on people’s desks, if you are wondering just how cranky your cube mate is this might be the needed intel to determine if they are happy, or just pissed off. We sent off an invite to one of our mates who is well, hard to figure out what his mood is from day to day. This might help us out.
