Microsoft CIO dismissed Conspiracy Theorists Rejoice

That whooshing sound was the sudden intake of air from “That is the sound of a thousand internet Microsoft conspiracy buffs posting to their favorite message board with some brand new conspiracies. (Seattle PI Comments)”.

While the Valleywag conspiracy was the best, sleeping with the only female VP in the department, most everyone else is waiting to see what the real reason is, if we ever get a real reason. This is not the first time that someone has been escorted off the Microsoft campus, nor will it be the last. But as conspiracy theorists agree, it is more fun the higher up the food chain people are when they go.

Unfortunately Mini Microsoft nor MSFT Extreme Makeover have commented yet, but keep a watch on their blogs, this is almost something that they can not help themselves but talk about. Plus odds are most likely we will get the rumor side of the whole thing, even that should be fun though.

While Microsoft has had its ups and downs, usually when a CIO of all people is busted for “violating company policy” (mind you this can be anything from surfing porn at work, to taking office supplies home, to fraternization and sleeping with the VP) they should know that every single pundit out there is going to have a lot to say, or at least a lot of conspiracy theories to throw around. The bad boy of Redmond has taken the headlines again, not with great quarterly results, but with the sudden dismissal of a A level executive.
