9 11 conspiracy theory strange plane
Not one to shy away from odd conspiracy theories, 9/11 has one that is persistent and will just not go away, and it centers on an E-4B plane that was seen circling the White House right as the 9/11 attacks were happening.
Conspiracy theorists say the airplane is proof that the government coordinated the attacks (that raises the question: why then would the government do something so obvious as to fly the “attack coordination” aircraft over the White House). Complicating attempts to refute such theories is that the government apparently won’t confirm this is the E-4B, or to explain why it was flying over the White House on 9/11. Source: Wired Danger Room

While there is much to be said about conspiracy theories, and we love them just as much as the next person who loves conspiracy theories, Web 2.0 has the potential to feed those kinds of theories, and keep them persisted across the internet in ways that were unimaginable just 10 years ago.
This 9/11 conspiracy refuses to go away, and as it sine waves in terms of interest waxing and waning, our own web 2.0 systems help feed into what people think, do, and react. This one is actually fairly interesting in the longer run.

Certainly the demolition of WTC7 is far bigger to the 9/11 Truth Movement than the E-4B flying over the White House after the Pentagon was hit. The 9/11 Truth Movement is not going away because its foundation is the Truth and its goal is the quest for Justice. The 9/11 Conspiracy Theory(Osama and 19 young Arabs because they hate our freedoms) is built on lies, propaganda and deceit. The neo-cons and their murderous ideology will be assigned to the dust-bin of history like their Jacobin and Bolshevik predecessors.
