Seattle Startup Weekend
Starts at 2 PM today, with many attendees, with some interesting threads happening on the Seattle Startup threads, some people who bought tickets can not make it, and are giving tickets away. Sign up for the Seattle tech startups e-mail list (with a lot of very good information for startups no matter where you are).
There is a lot of general enthusiasm in town today with some good coverage from Bill O’Reilly and various other venues. They need designers; you might still stand a last chance to get into the program with any luck.
As most of the startup folks head off to the program, it is going to look like downtown is going to be deserted in favor of the Startup Weekend.
We would not be surprised to see people break off and head down to the local star bucks or other great coffee house hang out. For folks not able to get in, this might be your only chance to hook up and see what people are thinking. It will be very cool to see what comes out on Monday and what the group comes up with.
