The eBay boycott starts today. This interesting grass roots movement of sellers and buyers from eBay have been planning this boycott for almost 60 days now. This has even hit the Google hot trends for the day meaning there is a lot of attention being given to this movement.

There are some very interesting sites that provide alternatives to eBay that are well worth checking out, and in context provide a good amount of traffic for sellers and buyers. The question that will become apparent over the week long boycott is who is actually participating, and what the actual cost to eBay is going to be in the longer run.

We probably won’t know anything until we see eBay’s quarterly results.
