Hugely amusing video from the 1962 Seattle worlds fair

Just in case all you newbies to Seattle wanted to know what a small Seattle town looked like in the early 60’s, Robert Yetter’s kid, Chris has posted home video from the 1962 Seattle worlds fair on to the Internet. While the video quality is poor, obviously an 8MM tape played on a backdrop and then recorded from that, with no sounds, it is an amusing look back at Seattle when all there was was Boeing, and some tourist things to do.

There are few if any skyscrapers like we have now.

Interesting flash back, try not to laugh too hard, it was a different world then. I am sure that people will be saying and doing the same things when we show our 47 year old divx movies to our kids, or they post our old movies to what ever the popular video delivery system is then. What no touch/feel, how primitive.
