Lessons to be learned from Spitzer and Ashlee Dupree
It is far too easy to find someone on line, just about everyone has a MySpace page, facebook, bebo, linked in, or other pages that they have created. The recent discovery of Ashlee Dupree’s MySpace page has added fuel to the fire because we wanted to know what the woman looked like who was involved in the Spitzer sex prostitution scandal.
Her MySpace page shows that she is a normal person, who wanted to be a music star. This might be just the way to at least get a record together, because her fame and notoriety will precede her.
There is no such thing as MySpace privacy in the longer run. As Ashley Dupree AKA “Kristen” of the Emperors Club has learned. Reports have it that she is in near seclusion right now in her New York apartment. The flip side to that, she has the same 15 minutes of fame that any artist would have who hit it big.
If you decide that you want to have a high profile affair with a person, who just happens to be moral crusader, then probably deleting all your personal pages on the internet might be a good thing.
If you are a moral crusader then you might just want to think about it before you go and have sex with someone other than your spouse whom you are still married to.
The world will find you if you get involved in a scandal or just about anything that brings you into the public spot light. Learn to handle it now, rather than later, no sense in becoming a recluse.
MySpace and all the other social networking sites are going to be the first things that people hit when they start looking for information on a person. Add to that Google, and the cache system, it will be a very long time until your personal information is gone from the internet.
