Wow talk about not getting it

Web 2.0 is dull, boring, annoying, with few original words being stated, this is getting to be well understood even if folks are busy trying to take over the world with their burgeoning blog empires. So what happens? The exact same thing that people were talking about, one post on how blogs are all rip from A List blogs, let the blogger feeding frenzy begin.

feeding frenzy we are all dull

Talk about not getting it, this is exactly what makes web 2.0 both interesting and dull, some folks work very hard to make good media content, then the rest of the A list fearing a scoop starts blogging about it, which then sends the B-Z list blogging about it, meaning it shows up on techmeme, which then drives even more people to blog about it.

Almost a cascade failure of people being able to come up with their own story, and fearing being left out of the biggest scoop of the century:

“Few people blog original information”

Wow, that’s original.

Maybe blogs will go the way of the news papers? One can only hope, but give it 5 to 10 years. A recession might be good to cull the herd right now.

In the mean time, there is blood in the water. Oh my goodness, we all talk about the same thing. Dang.
