Hypnotic, compelling, the new Friend Feed real time conversation streaming is a necessary to have fun new toy, very cool, addition to the friend feed system. Friend feed has been on a tear over the last couple of weeks as they added all sorts of functionality from the best of the best, to being able to have three time lines (favorites, personal, professional), and now they add streaming conversations.

With the presidential debates going on tonight, the friend feed presidential debate room is already on fire, and will be something to watch as the debate waxes and wanes today. You can get right to the debate room right here.

This of course gets everyone who blogs about technology muy caliente, mostly because it is so refreshing to see something cool, and fun to play with. Of course, like kids, the novelty will wear off in a week among the bleeding edge technical bloggers, but that is ok as well. So far, many of the pundits agree, this is a good thing.

The question is can we use this technology wisely, or will it become another dive into the dirt like IRC. It will be interesting to see who ends up using it, and for what.
