One of the problems with embargoed information is that you forget about it, but the social median team was good enough to send me a reminder…
Social Median starts covering the election in a one stop shop get it all here web site.
While everyone is still wondering who will win or lose the race, getting a widget for your blog, or other web site might not be a bad idea. It all depends on if you have enough space to host the thing. According to Jason Goldberg (thanks for the reminder) he states in his e-mail that the new widget will:
The site, launched in partnership with The Washington Post, enables anyone anywhere to follow along and participate by adding their feeds from Twitter, Flickr, YouTube, their blog, and more. You can also grab our socialmedian Election Talk widget and add it to your own website and blog to enable your readers to follow user-driven coverage of the election. The Washington Post and The Guardian are two the first sites who will be featuring the Election Talk widget. Source: Social Median
Overall, the election is over with in a week or less right now, and many people are voting, which is a good thing. Adding the widget to see if you can get complete election coverage might be something you want to do.
