Battlestar Galactica makes its ITunes Return with a major price differential

Battlestar Galactica has made a return to ITunes, but at 2.99 an episode, while Amazon still has it for 1.99 an episode. Once cannot help but think that Apple is being punished by the media companies. The price disparity can truly add up over time, with 10 episodes for season 4 already available on Amazon and iTunes, the cost savings by going to Amazon right now is 10 dollars. That is a lot when people are being cash strapped, and not spending money.

ITunes Screen Capture tells it all when it comes to pricing; they are at 2.99 an episode

The Amazon Screen Capture shows the same show for 1.99

This is going to do nothing but tick off consumers, and makes Amazon the superior cost savings option, add to that the forthcoming Blackberry Storm, and this might end up giving Apple a run for its money if Verizon is going to do any kind of official partnership later on down the road. While that is nothing but conjecture, if Blackberry aligns with Amazon, and Amazon has much better prices than Apple, customers are going to go over to Amazon and spend their money, watching their video on the blackberry.
