Profy Crashes with nothing left on the site

The magnesium-bodied Honda RA302 of Jo Schless...Image via WikipediaI went out to check out profy.com this morning to find out that they have crashed and burned, with nothing left but a default Apache install screen, and none of the links working at all.

Annoying, but is this a momentary glitch in the system, or are they loosing serious money and sponsorship dollars right now for being down. One of the problems with being advertising driven is the uptime you have to maintain, and the access to content that the sponsors are going to be looking for when they sponsor the site.

Let’s hope that the site comes back up soon.

UPDATE: Of course it comes back up right after the posting: 07:43 AM 21 November 2008.

  • The irony is that the downtime must have been so brief that I myself have not noticed and only got to know about it from you :) Thanks for the support and good to see you sound relieved about Profy returning.
