Image via WikipediaBehind on bills, with people still sitting in jail waiting to see what happens next, the drama that is Entellium continues today with the King County Sherriff called in to seize the computer systems from Entellium because they are seriously behind in payments for the leased systems. Entellium has sparked and continues to spark a lot of controversy in the Seattle area for the dramatic failure of the company, along with the FBI raid that saw it’s CEO and CFO arrested for wire fraud.
The King County Sheriff has been ordered to secure circuit boards, telephones and computer servers at the company’s Seattle headquarters at 1010 Western Avenue. “The Sheriff is hereby directed to break and enter a building or enclosure to obtain possession of the property if the property is concealed in such a building or enclosure,” court documents say. That suit, filed in King County Superior Court on Oct. 31, alleges that Entellium failed to make equipment lease payments now totaling $102,436. Source: Techflash.com
Techflash has some excellent coverage of the whole issue, but in the mean time, lawsuits are also mounting for back pay, and other things that were going on at the company. Something tells us that when this thing hits the courts, there is going to be a lot of information that is released about how the company ran, and how it took advantage of many other companies and venture funds in the Seattle area.
