How much space are you willing to give up on your YouTube video to see ads? While monetizing is ok, but a significant portion of the screen is lost to these ads, when really all I want to do is watch the video.
From the user perspective, this seriously cuts down on the enjoyment part of the video. Someone needs to do the regular “hot spot” study on these ads and see what their click through rates are, and just how annoyed people are going to get over this one.
I just really wanted to watch the video. This is the kind of behavior, the in your face advertising that makes me never ever to click on any ad what so ever on line.
