If you are looking for one of the must have resources for startups in the Seattle Area, you need to seriously consider becoming a member of NWEN, Northwest Entrepreneur Network. NWEN is a Non Profit that helps startups throughout many of the phases that they will go through, and are deeply tied to both formal and informal efforts to promote startups in the Seattle area.

Seattle still has a very vibrant startup community, with groups like NWEN helping startups get connected, get informed, and get help that they might need as they grow past the basement stage and into the funding stage. This is a group of many of the smartest folks in the room, folks who run and own startups, and those that have seriously succeeded in the business.

They have a great list of resources for startups, as well as their own blog where they talk about things that matter for just about everyone in business. Things that even established businesses could do to remember at times.

Worth checking out, NWEN and WITA (The Washington Technology Industry Association) are having a special on membership. WITA is another great resource to have at your disposal and be a member of. If you are in the Seattle area, these are two groups you want to join, it is well worth the marginal cost of the membership program across both of them.
