While it is not yet time to call FriendFeed a “Fail Whale” it looks like a power outage at Powerset is causing a small alteration in the social networking scene this evening. While it might not be power set’s data center power outage, it could be servers, or just about anything along the way that is causing thousands of FriendFeed addicted people to have to head out doors or move over to twitter tonight.

FriendFeed outages have been rare, so when one happens twitter and facebook light up with comments about the outage and speculation as to what caused it. Some think it was powerset’s outage, some people blame Louis Gray (according to twitter) and his own comments on Facebook that he was getting a Server 500 error (which would indicate that it is not a power outage).
In the mean time, we will have to live without the Comic Book Goodness room, the funny pictures room, entertaining and scintillating conversation about the things we think are important, like cake, what is for dinner, man chests, what music we are listening too right now, oh wow we like the same bands how cool, will you pay for my plane ticket to LA? Did you do your makeup yourself?
It is a nice night out, Star Trek has opened and the theaters are crowded, time for some popcorn and some TV, sorry FriendFeed, see you in the morning.
